LAZULI BUNTING is a spectacular very blue eyed daylily. LAZULI BUNTING is a western U.S. species that I also saw once here in Florida. A gorgeous bird - the blooms of LAZULI BUNTING are a blue-violet with lighter sepals. The blue-purple eye and edge have a purple outer eye border and inner petal edge. Its outer edge is white. LAZULI BUNTING appears to have a blue cast over the entire bloom. It has a very green throat, with 3-way branching and 20 buds. Fertile both ways.
